ONE IDENTITY / ONE SAVED OPERATION
Hiding replaces a note for that target. Saving a note replaces hiding. An orphan stays saved until its exact identity returns or you remove the edit.
Source record and saved state
This lab edits gallery source identities (IXF1). It does not attach edits to clipped chamber fragments. Hidden outlines are inspection guides, not rendered solids. Drawing-only hides leave collision unchanged. Drawing-and-collision hides remove the same source boxes/slabs from both previews and trigger a fresh route check; removing support can make a route fail. An absent source is retained as an orphan, never moved to another feature.
