RangeBlends
Two worlds built out of one sequence. Rule 30's edge run is a
ruler sequence — a hierarchy of scales set by how divisible an index is by
two — and it turns out that is also the shape of a mountain range and of a river
network. Nothing here is saved to disk. Every column, every confluence is recomputed
from (seed, index) on the way past.

Your Own Valley
Type a name, get a world. Then six true things about it — how many villages are downstream, when it will rain there, forever.
Ruler Range
The same stretch of world drawn three ways: fractal noise, the bare edge run, and the two blended. The middle one contains no random numbers at all.
Open →Ruler Rivers
A drainage basin grown from the same law, with its Horton ratios measured against what real rivers do. The bifurcation ratio lands on 3.00.
Open →Ruler Flow
The basin with water in it — and every droplet's position is a lookup, not a simulation. Jump to t = 10⁹ and it arrives instantly.
Open →The Seed Wall
Twelve valleys, twelve words. Nobody knows what to type into an empty box, so point at the one you like and go and stand in it.
Open →The Living Bank
Herons, fish, birds — none of them stepped forward, none of them stored. Jump to a billion and they are exactly where they should be.
The Almanac
Weather with a proven period, from tri_xor. A forecast a million
years out is not a guess here — it is a lookup.
The Settlement Law
A hut at v₂=4, a hall at 13 — so you can name where the next village is without generating a square of ground between here and it.
Sundial
A whole day over the bank. Ask for six in the morning and you get it — the light at any hour is read off the hour, never counted up to.
The Riverbank
Close enough to see the reeds. Boulders, bushes, a footbridge — and water that moves without anything being simulated.
The Build Code
Dig and build on ground that was never saved — then carry the whole thing away as one short string, and replay it step by step.
The Ruler Valley
Blocks, a river, snow on the tops — and the valley walls are the run law. Travel downstream and back; nothing was kept.
The Other Ladder
Two binary ladders with opposite jobs — one so structure survives, one so it dies. Includes the one number here that was derived before it was measured.
Open →The Edge Run
The object itself, undressed: rule 30's edge, the run read straight off it, and the page checks the shortcut against the automaton live.
Open →prefixlaw.
Both pages share assets/rulerlib.js — the run law, the integer hash
ported from IndexedWorld.cs, and the two generators. Everything on the
deterministic path uses + − × ÷ and shifts only: no
pow, log, sin or cos, so a value
computed in the browser matches the same value computed in Unity. Static files, no
build step, no dependencies.
