A CODE BUILT ON THE SETTLEMENT LATTICE
A square you can print on a postcard. Its landmarks sit where the ruler puts settlements, so any torn piece still reads the place, and the whole card carries a build. The site's ordinary QR is printed beside it for phones that only know QR. Make one below, or point your camera at one.
Left: the Hamlet code. Right: the same link as a QR, from the site's own encoder. Below: the place, drawn by the RangeBlends painter from the seed.
Waiting.
The place comes first from any scrap 46 modules wide; districts fill in as you move; a missing district is rebuilt by the outer code. Nothing leaves your phone.
A stamp code pasted into the Builders' picker becomes the build; a note is just a note.
The sample card below is made, torn into quarters, and each piece is read on its own by the same scanner the camera uses. Every piece knows the place; each piece yields its district; three pieces are enough for the whole build, because the fourth district is rebuilt by the outer code.
