🔥 clockwork grillCUSTOMERS ARRIVE ON A CLOCK

TEN WAVES. FOUR DISHES. A CLOCK THAT REPEATS.

The rush has
a period.

Cells one to four of a fourteen-cell clock each send a customer when they light.
The clock is exactly periodic, so the second wave sounds like the first.

🔥

Burgers burn.
Lemonade does not.

Tap a dish to put it on; drag a ready one to the customer. Food left on the grill too long is lost.
Easy runs driver 5, an eight-tick clock. Hard runs driver 1, a hundred and twenty-eight.

tri_xor cell j fires customer j: the arrival pattern is a proven power-of-two cycle, not a random spawn timer.

ANOTHER SHIFT

Words change the sides customers add, never the clock.

GRILL NOTES

Cook to the clock.

A fourteen-cell triangular XOR system ticks along. Whenever one of cells one to four switches on, a customer walks in wanting that cell's dish: burger, hot dog, corn, or lemonade. Bigger orders add sides.

Tap a dish to put it on the grill; drag a ready one onto the customer. Burgers take five seconds and burn after nine on the pass; hot dogs three and eight; corn four and ten. Lemonade is instant and keeps.

Easy uses driver 5 with an eight-tick period, medium driver 14 with sixty-four, hard driver 1 with a hundred and twenty-eight. A whole order pays; three walk-outs in a wave closes the grill; ten waves or a hundred dollars wins.

THE SHIFT IS OVER

Every order,
every wave.
