Blends: new ranges from Lars's tricks over the new rulers
The Ternary Hills, the Sixfold Hills and Alps, the Ternary Canyons and the Ternary Isles: twenty blends tried, five ranges kept, each from the air and on the ground with a Go there.
▶ Go therebl-1-the-ternary-hills-from-the-air The Ternary Hills from the air: the Ruler Hills' cousin in base three. A hill on every column where 3^k divides g + 1, the ladder for its height and the radius tripling with the rank: a mound every 27 columns, a hill every 81, a rank-6 dome at 2,601,071; six lanes from the two ternary digits above the trailing zeros; rivers between. The ruler in base three is A007949; the law is sitoolz.rulers.▶ Go therebl-2-the-ternary-hills-on-foot On foot at the start of the Ternary Hills, the rank-6 dome ahead. A quad bike climbs the mounds; the prizes stand on the summits by the base-3 lane rule.▶ Go therebl-3-the-sixfold-hills-from-the-air The Sixfold Hills from the air: two rulers on one ground. The Ruler Hills' hill on every column where 2^k divides g + 1 and the Ternary Hills' on every column where 3^k does, summed, on the six base-3 lanes; a column both rulers mark gets both hills stacked. Rolling downs with rock tops of many sizes, no two alike across the region (4,096 distinct columns), rivers between. The first of four blends kept from twenty tried (sitoolz.blends).▶ Go therebl-4-the-sixfold-hills-by-buggy The Sixfold Hills by buggy: mild slopes all the way (39 percent of the ground under a gentle grade, no cliffs), a landmark every few hundred columns to steer by.▶ Go therebl-5-the-sixfold-alps-from-the-air The Sixfold Alps from the air at evening: the Sixfold Hills under the Alps' law, the tallest hill winning instead of the sum and the relief deepening the vales, so rock domes stand over green valleys with the rivers threading them.▶ Go therebl-6-the-sixfold-alps-in-a-vale In a vale of the Sixfold Alps, the domes closing in. Take the helicopter up from a dome and follow the river down.▶ Go therebl-7-the-ternary-canyons-from-the-air The Ternary Canyons from the air: the Canyons' inversion over the ternary ruler. A rock plateau 130 blocks up, and every column where 3^k divides g + 1 cuts a bowl as deep as its hill would have been tall, the deepest filling as lakes: bowls of four sizes, 83 in the region, four percent of the ground lakes.▶ Go therebl-8-the-ternary-canyons-on-the-rim On the rim of a bowl in the Ternary Canyons, the lake at its bottom. Drive the plateau between the bowls; the prizes stand at the bowls' bottoms by the lane rule.▶ Go therebl-9-the-ternary-isles-from-the-air The Ternary Isles from the air in the afternoon: the Dyadic Isles' trick over the ternary ruler. The base sunk under the sea so only the hills clear it: islets every 27 columns, islands every 243 and a crowned island every 729, on the six base-3 lanes; 36 islands in the region, three sizes, 73 percent water.▶ Go therebl-10-the-ternary-isles-by-boat The Ternary Isles by speedboat, a crowned island ahead. The prizes stand on the summits; the gate on the biggest island of the region.
